Oct. 21--CAMARILLO, Calif.--SALEM ACQUIRES TWO STATIONS: Salem Communications Corp. (Nasdaq: SALM) has acquired radio stations WWTC-AM 1280 in Minneapolis and WZER-AM 540 in Milwaukee, the Camarillo-based provider of Christian-oriented radio, electronic and printed resources reported Friday.
Salem purchased the stations from affiliates of Catholic Radio Network LLC for $7 million.
Pending regulatory approval, the deal is expected to close during the first quarter of 2001.
