Nov. 6--Customers who stop by Joe's Farm Market in Port Charlotte find a relaxed atmosphere and friendly conversation along with fresh produce.

Owned by Joe and Carolyn Brucci, and son Mike, the market occupies a corner unit of Toledo Square plaza at 17753 Toledo Blade Blvd., at the intersection of S.R. 776.

The family has been in the farm market business in Charlotte County for 10 years and will celebrate three years at the Toledo Blade location in December. They have one employee, Jerry Spaniol, who oversees the family's farm market that sits in front of the Rainbow Flea Market in Charlotte Harbor.

"Jerry has been with us seven years," Carolyn Brucci said. "He's like an adopted son.
