Nov. 21--CHECK OUT TAX FORMS NOW TO ADJUST WITHHOLDING: Trying to tune out incessant media chatter about the Great Florida Tossup? Cheer up. Things could be worse.

Ask Jim Reeves. The local accountant and author promised to write an article for "CPA" magazine previewing the tax agenda of the next administration.

A vice president of Fort Worth-based Practitioners Publishing Co., Reeves could finish it in a flash except for one minor detail. He needs a winner. Now. The magazine is already late to press.

"It may not make that much difference. Even if we have a totally Republican government, we're not going to have a flat tax next year," Reeves said. …
