Nov. 6--SAMSUNG MAKES NEW WIRELESS PHONE THAT'S ALSO AN MP3 PLAYER: It's a phone and an MP3 player.

Samsung has introduced its new wireless phone, the Uproar, which allows consumers to download MP3 files from their computer directly into the handset.

The phone will be available to Sprint PCS wireless customers and can also be used as a personal organizer.

"With its downloadable music capabilities built directly into the handset, the Uproar fuses the industry's most advanced technology to create the ultimate wireless accessory," says Peter Skarzynski, senior vice president of sales for Samsung.

The Uproar has a built-in flash memory chip that holds more than an hour of CD music that can be heard through a headset that comes with the phone. When the music …
