Oct. 16--FORT WORTH-ARLINGTON RATED NO. 1 MARKET FOR SMALL BUSINESSES: Fort Worth-Arlington has the best climate for small businesses among the nation's 60 largest metropolitan markets, according to "Entrepreneur" magazine's latest poll.

The magazine used Dun & Bradstreet data to rank small businesses -- those with fewer than 20 employees -- in four categories: businesses less than 5 years old, employment growth among small businesses, market job growth and risk of bankruptcy. Fort Worth-Arlington ranked No. 1, up from last year's No. 25.

It was followed by West Palm Beach-Boca Raton in Florida and North Carolina's Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area, home of the state's Research …
