"Founded in 1939, Reflectone, of Tampa, has businesses involved in the design, manufacture and sale of flight simulators, weapons system trainers, tactical air defense trainers, maintenance trainers, part-task trainers and other sophisticated training devices. Business is conducted through three main business segments: Training Devices (48.6 percent of revenues), Training Services (38.6 percent) and Systems Management (12.8 percent).

"Primary customers include the federal government and customers who buy simulation-based devices for the entertainment industry.

"At year-end 1995, the order backlog totaled $121.1 million, a $77 million increase over 1994. Earnings for the year were $1.36 per share, versus a loss of $1.35 per share in 1994. Approximately 50 percent of the common stock is owned by British Aerospace Holdings."
