Time Warner Renames Manatee County, Fla., Cable Television Provider.(Originated from The Bradenton Herald, Fla.)

BRADENTON, Fla.--Apr. 2--Paragon Cable officially became Time Warner Communications on Monday, but customers shouldn't notice any immediate difference.

Although the cable provider's name changed, cable customers won't see any big changes in their cable bills, said Rose Carlson, vice presdient and general manager of Time Warner's Manatee County region.

That's because the Federal Communications Commission determines cable rates based on the cost of services provided by the cable company, according to a Time Warner spokesperson.

Changes that Paragon's 82,000 customers will see immediately will be in advertising and correspondence that bear Time Warner's name …
