Twenty-one-year-old Irene Ng thinks she ``plays'' young, ``Physically, really young,'' says the star of the latest addition to Nickelodeon's original-programming lineup, ``The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo'' (premieres Sunday at 6 p.m. ET).
But Ng's already in her third year at Harvard, and playing a 14-year-old crime-solver has its challenges.
She credits co-star Pat Morita, who plays her grandfather in the series, with not only ``telling me things he thinks can help me out maybe during a scene, but he naturally became my mentor, even though he didn't try to be,'' she says.
