Feb. 9--The fixtures, mirrors and white marble floors are in place, and the first truckloads of merchandise have arrived.

Two Kohl's Department Stores will open in Wichita on schedule, March 10, local store managers said.

And although the aisle floors may be covered temporarily with cardboard now as boxes are unpacked and racks filled, grand opening celebrations are planned for March 15.

The 86,584-square-foot stores are located at 3561 N. Rock Road, near Star Lumber, and 6900 W. Kellogg, near Best Buy.
