British Airways World Cargo hopes to build up its business with a new cargo center that will double the airline's existing freight capacity. The carrier has unveiled the design of its $238 million World Cargocentre at London Heathrow Airport.
"We are building a new business, not building a new terminal," said Keith Dickerson, senior vice president of British Airways' cargo division for the Americas. "Bricks and mortar alone will not deliver the level of change we and our customers see as necessary both in the short and long term."
