NORTH MYRTLE BEACH--Mar. 4--A group of Grand Strand businessmen, including the Myrtle Beach Opry's former owner, announced plans Friday to open a country-music dinner theater in the former home of Cowboys Nightlife.
Bill Dixon of cable television's "Grand Strand Video Magazine" has teamed with the Opry's Jack Gregory and restaurateur George Kartsaklis to start the Country Jamboree. The 600-seat dinner theater is scheduled to open mid-April in the 20,000-square-foot building on U.S. 17 Business.
