Dry filtration improves spray booth efficiency and waste disposal at one Wisconsin firm

Kohler Co. (Kohler, WI), a well-known maker of plumbing products, engines, and generators, has converted all its spray booths from waterwash to dry filter systems in the last few years.

Even though the waterwash booths complied with all environmental regulations, Kohler officials saw room for improvement. The capture efficiency of the waterwash booths was good, but technicians had problems with paint particles clogging the water nozzles, resulting in expensive and time-consuming maintenance.
