Oct. 11--BEAUTY BRANDS FIGHTS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: It takes guts for a women to leave a violent spouse -- that's why local Beauty Brands Salon Spa Superstores raised money to support a St. Louis women's shelter.

The retailer recently concluded its month-long campaign and raised more than $2,000 for Lydia's House, a nonprofit shelter dedicated to serving local victims of domestic violence.

The program was conducted at Beauty Brands stores in Brentwood, Mo., Florissant, Mo., and St. Charles, Mo., plus the metro-east store at 3110 Green Mount Crossing Drive, Shiloh. …
