Apr. 12--ONTARIO, Calif.--Year-to-date sales at Ontario Mills are up compared with the same period a year ago and General Manager Jim Mance expects two new tenants to provide an additional boost for the region's largest shopping mall.

A Nordstrom Rack store -- the first ever in a mall setting -- and a Children's Place fashion store both will open within the next four months as anchor stores, he said Nordstrom Rack will occupy a 36,000-square-foot store and is scheduled to open May 23. Children's Place will occupy a 21,000-square-foot store and open August 1.
