Dec. 2--LAMAR, Colo.--The Prowers County Commissioners switched the channel on Eagle Television this week, terminating a contract with the Eads television company for maintenance of the county's UHF TV repeater tower located near Carlton.
The repeater tower receives a signal from a similar tower neighboring Bent County which, in turn, receives VHF broadcast signals from three major network channels and the PBS channel in the Pueblo-Colorado Springs area. The signal is then translated to UHF frequencies and rebroadcast locally.
