Oct. 2--At first blush, it's just another Target opening in the Triangle.

But look closer. This one is different.

First, the location: The 131,000-square-foot store is stacked under what will be a 14-screen movie theater and a row of boutiques and restaurants at North Hills in Raleigh. And to get to the store, shoppers must drive around what once was the back of North Hills Mall, near the Beltline. Even then, the entrance is tucked away, under the parking deck, making it seem more like an urban environment, with shoppers seemingly heading …
