PHILADELPHIA _ Sometimes, it's amazing how much difference time can make.
This time last season, Donovan McNabb was the subject of national debate after radio host and then-ESPN - (ital) ahem (end ital) - football analyst Rush Limbaugh declared that McNabb's previously documented success had been nothing more than the exaggerated musings of media members "desirous" of promoting a black quarterback.
So perhaps it's poetic justice that a year after Limbaugh showed how little he knew about football, saying McNabb never was an elite quarterback, the Eagles' signal-caller was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Month.
Not that McNabb, who has made four consecutive Pro Bowls, needed ...
