COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. _ Supported by more than a billion people, the Olympic team of the world's most populated country is barreling into the Olympic movement like a bull running through the streets of Pamplona, Spain.
China is coming.
And you know what? Peter Ueberroth is concerned.
Ueberroth, the new chairman of the board of the U.S. Olympic Committee doesn't want to be the hapless soul who gets trampled. Ueberroth doesn't want his organization getting squashed.
If the status quo remains, a walkover is Ueberroth's fate.
Don't, however, mistake concern for fear. Ueberroth heads the most powerful summer Olympics team in the world.
