Sep. 27--SARTA TRIES LUCK WITH POKER TOURNEY: The area's top technology booster group is caught up in the poker craze. The Sacramento Area Regional Technology Alliance is holding a Texas Hold'em Tournament -- just like the ones shown so often now on TV.

"It will be fun to see people with big cigars hanging out of their mouths, pushing across the chips and wearing sunglasses," says John Allen, a Merrill Lynch exec and SARTA board member who is coordinating the event.
