# Patients: 5 men, 3 women; 22 to 47 y/o Medication: Fluvoxamine (Luvox)

Comments: Among eight patients treated in a private psychiatric clinic who had developed sexual impairment due to previous antidepressant therapy, improvement in sexual dysfunction symptoms occurred in all patients after they were switched to fluvoxamine treatment. All patients had responded to previous antidepressants such as fluoxetine (Prozac), venlafaxine (Effexor) and sertraline (Zoloft) for psychiatric symptoms such as depression, anxiety and bulimia nervosa.
