* West Mesa program helps students turn grades around and prepare for college or a job
A program at West Mesa High School is helping students stay in school, boosting their confidence and creating a future for them, teacher Tom Daly said.
Daly teaches at the school and is the director of the Advanced Technology Academy. He said the academy offers training to help students get a job after they graduate or move directly into a program at the University of New Mexico or the Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute.
