A sarcophagus, or stone coffin, of the ancient Egyptian pharaoh Ramses VI has gotten a makeover. The sarcophagus and a statue of a well-known ancient Egyptian queen are among the objects that have been recently restored by Egyptologists.

"In the past, visitors to the tomb would only see the broken pieces of the sarcophagus," said Chip Vincent, director of the reconstruction project, which took ten American, Canadian and Egyptian experts two years to complete. "Now they have the experience to see the head and the face of the pharaoh."
