Did you know April is National Poetry Month? To celebrate, we spoke with author Jane Yolen about her poetry. Yolen is the author of more than 200 books for young people, including picture books, chapter books and many poetry books. This month the Children's Book Council named Yolen the Young People's Poetry Week poet. Here's what Yolen had to say about writing poetry.
Q: What do you like about writing poetry as opposed to writing stories?
