CHICAGO _ The Blackhawks' new goalies coach, Stephane Waite, prides himself on being trilingual.

Waite grew up in the French-speaking Canadian province of Quebec, and four years ago he learned English. What's his third language?

"When I speak with my goalies, I don't speak English and I don't speak French," Waite said. "I speak the goalie language, and that's very different."

Waite joined the coaching staff after the All-Star break. Although the Hawks have a losing record (6-9-3-1) since the break, the work Waite has done with rookie goalies Michael Leighton, Craig Anderson, Adam Munro and Matt Underhill hasn't been …
