Member Quits Augusta, Ga., Aviation Commission.

Mar. 19--Augusta Aviation Commission member Marcie Wilhelmi resigned from the board Thursday, saying she wanted to spend more time with her family.
Ms. Wilhelmi was chairwoman of the commission before current chairman Cedric Johnson and also has served on the Daniel Field commission. Her current term on the aviation commission began in April 2002 and was set to extend until March 2006.
On Thursday, Mr. Johnson said that he did not want Ms. Wilhelmi to leave the commission but he understood her reasoning for doing so.
