McALESTER, Okla. _ An Oklahoma judge refused Monday to delay Terry Nichols' capital murder trial but warned he would dismiss the case altogether if the government fails to provide the defense with all investigative documents required by law.
State District Judge Steven Taylor said he would not postpone the trial based on "guesswork and speculation" about a new FBI inquiry into allegations it mishandled evidence of a wider conspiracy in the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing.
