DETROIT _ The trophies are staying put.
Birmingham Detroit Country Day reaffirmed its position Monday that the school did nothing wrong when Chris Webber played basketball there, and the Yellowjackets aren't giving up the three state titles he helped them win.
Country Day won the championships in 1989-91.
The Michigan High School Athletic Association ruled Sunday that Webber was ineligible during his years at Country Day because he took money and gifts from former University of Michigan booster Ed Martin.
