LOS ANGELES _ Fans of Paul Schrader can cross "The Exorcist" prequel, "Exorcist: New Beginnings," off their must-see list. According to actor James D'Arcy, who plays Father William Francis in the film, which is now under the control of director Renny Harlin, only two minutes of Schrader's cut remain in the film.
Schrader shot the movie last summer with star Stellan Skarsgard as the lead, but was fired by Morgan Creek, the production company financing the film, which was unhappy with the cut.
