WASHINGTON _ U.S. Marines joined by French and Canadian troops set up a command center at the Port-au-Prince airport on Monday _ a skeletal, 450-strong U.S.-led force that Pentagon planners expect to swell to 5,000 multinational troops under a three-month United Nations mandate.
