BALTIMORE _ The Democratic presidential nomination almost within his grasp, Sen. John Kerry focused his fire on President Bush and ignored rival Sen. John Edwards during a campaign swing Monday through Maryland, Ohio and Georgia, three of the 10 states that vote on "Super" Tuesday.
Edwards vowed anew to stay in the race even if he loses all 10 states Tuesday _ a real possibility. He trailed in every state where public polls were available Monday, including Georgia, Maryland and Ohio, three of the four states where he thought he had the best chance of winning.
No polls were available in the fourth state where Edwards hoped for an upset win, Minnesota.
