TRIPOLI, Libya _ In the latest sign that U.S.-Libya relations are thawing rapidly after a quarter-century of animosity, seven American members of Congress arrived here Monday for meetings Tuesday with Libya's leader, Col. Moammar Gadhafi.
One of them, Rep. Curt Weldon, R-Pa., said full diplomatic ties between the countries could be restored by year's end.
