This year, Industrial Paint & Powder celebrates its 80th year of serving the coatings industry. The magazine began life in November 1924 as a monthly periodical called Industrial Finishing. In 1993, the magazine was renamed Industrial Paint & Powder to reflect the growing powder market and our coverage of it. In each issue throughout this year, we will reprint portions of past issues, beginning this month with coverage of the years 1924 to 1929. You'll read about the companies, technologies and events that helped shape the modern coatings industry, as well as the world in which we live. We hope you enjoy the trip.
