ChevronTexaco Lubricants meet new Mack engine oil specification.(Automotive)

ChevronTexaco Global Lubricants (CTGL) heavy duty engine oils will appear on the initial Mack EO-N Premium Plus 03 approval list and a service bulletin that was issued in early October.

The new Mack engine oil specification requires increased performance in the areas of soot thickening control, oil shear stability, extended drain capability, and low temperature pumpability of sooted oils in low swirl Mack ASET engines. Compliant oils are required to perform well in EGR Mack engines, as well as earlier Mack engines without EGR systems.
