Stephanie Graff sparked St. Joseph's with an impressive performance yesterday as the Hawks beat Richmond, 58-48, in women's basketball at Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse.
The Archbishop Prendergast graduate, who plays forward and center, posted a double-double with 17 points and a career-high 16 rebounds. She passed the 1,000-point mark for her college career late in the game and now has 1,002.
"Steph Graff stepped up huge today," Hawks coach Cindy Griffin said. "We told her we wanted her to be a terror on the boards. She was all over the place. She did a great job making free throws down the stretch. She was terrific."
