ST. LOUIS _ After trying to downplay his first game against his old team _ and the general manager that banished him from the organization _ Blues winger Mike Danton met the New Jersey Devils head-on Saturday.
Danton, obtained from the Devils in a trade last June for a third-round draft pick, was asked Saturday morning when he started thinking about the New Jersey game.
"After I ate my eggs and toast," he said without cracking a smile.
Before the game, Danton had a puck the Devils once sent to him taken over to the New Jersey dressing room by a dressing room attendant.
