TALLAHASSEE, Fla. _ With No. 14 Georgia Tech set to visit the Civic Center on Tuesday, Leonard Hamilton gave his starters plenty of rest Sunday in Florida State's 88-73 victory over lowly Savannah State.
None of FSU's starters played more than 16 minutes. Tim Pickett still scored 24 points and matched his season high with five steals. Michael Joiner scored eight of his 12 points in the opening five minutes. He also had a career-high six assists and no turnovers.
