Adam Vinatieri stayed cool, again.
A Super Bowl game full of interesting if sometimes ragged performances came down to which team had the most composed kicker.
That is why New England won the Super Bowl for the second time in two seasons on Sunday night, beating Carolina 32-29 at Reliant Stadium on Vinatieri's field goal in the final seconds.
When it comes to cool under pressure, Vinatieri is the NFL's best.
"They never, ever get old," Vinatieri said. "With this type of venue and the pressure, they're never easy."
