Warriors' Van Exel returns, but Dunleavy is out.(Knight Ridder Newspapers)

MEMPHIS, Tenn. _ Nick Van Exel is expected to make his return tonight when the Warriors play the Memphis Grizzlies at the Pyramid. Small forward Mike Dunleavy, on the other hand, will miss the first game of his NBA career.
Van Exel, who has missed the past eight games because of left knee inflammation, practiced Saturday and is expected to come off the bench against Memphis. He hasn't played since scoring nine points and handing out just one assist in 32 minutes in a 97-90 loss to Utah on Jan. 13.
The Warriors have gone 5-3 in Van Exel's absence _ with Speedy Claxton starting _ and are on a three-game winning streak.
