May 12--Milk protein concentrate imports are costing United States dairy farmers money.
"It's throwing our supply and demand way out of whack," said Delbert Mandelko, a Preston dairy farmer. Farmers are paid based on supply and demand, and milk protein concentrate is displacing American-produced milk ingredients in dairy products.
