May 12--GEARING UP: Whomper Room Entertainment of Rochester is offering customers the opportunity to take to the track behind the wheel of cars usually driven by NASCAR stars. Of course, the cars are 1/10 the size of Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s regular ride.

Whomper Room has set up a track in the former Audio King store in the Apache Mall and up to six cars at a time can race remote-control replicas of NASCAR cars. It will be open through June 1.
