May 10--Digital camera sales continue to click at Hollywood-based Concord Camera Corp. while earnings shot up for the company's third quarter.
Concord, which makes cameras under trademarks such as Polaroid, Concord and Argus, reported larger-than-expected earnings for the quarter, due to a gain from resolution of a previously disclosed disputed claim with an undisclosed customer for which the company manufactures. Resolution of the claim boosted after-tax net income by $2 million.
