Jan. 6--ANACONDA, Mont.--Babies are back, and Community Hospital of Anaconda is expanding its obstetrics department to accommodate growing numbers of mothers and infants.
Loretta Phillip, a registered nurse at the hospital, said the facility's single birthing room is inadequate if more than one woman is in labor at a time. Since a smaller room used as needed is sometimes inconvenient and cramped for space, a second homelike birthing area is in the works.
