May 4--HOME TEAM OFFERS REGENTS GREAT CHOICE: During the late 1980s, developers Chuck Galis and Jack Vandiver Jr. employed a different approach in building their Oakbrook Corporate Campus, an office complex on Research Road. Instead of clear-cutting the trees, which regularly served as prelude for most commercial development in Clarke County, Galis and Vandiver preserved most of the heavily wooded property and incorporated the majority of the trees, the hilly landscape and streams into a natural setting for the offices.
Passing by on Research Road, one would hardly notice the structures in the woods, but …
