May 3--JURY STARTS MAY 27 IN SALMON TRIAL: The Bristol Bay salmon price-fixing lawsuit isn't going to drag on into summer, the judge says. Jury deliberations will begin May 27, Superior Court Judge Peter A. Michalski decided Thursday. He wrote that in a written order to attorneys as the trial neared the end of its 11th week. Originally, the jury was scheduled to get the case about May 6. But the timetable has slipped despite the judge's warnings to the lawyers about overstepping the initial time limits.
