CHICAGO _ Even though Bob Costas' HBO show is going to have an entertainment component this year, he does have his limits.
It was suggested to Costas that if he really wanted to build an audience, he should combine sports and "G-String Divas," an HBO show on strippers. Costas frequently refers to the program_not to suggest he is a regular viewer.
"No, I don't think we'll take that track," Costas said.
Costas, however, is altering the format for the third season of "On the Record," which makes its debut Friday at 10:30 p.m. on HBO.
The time slot dictates Costas can't just do a straight sports show. He also will interview his share of entertainment stars.
Actors and entertainers were a staple on Costas' show during the first two years. However, he always asked them sports related questions. His favorite subject had to be talking Kentucky basketball with Ashley Judd.
