Apr. 25--AVID BARGAIN HUNTERS in San Luis Obispo are in for a treat.

Tuesday Morning, a nationwide discounter of top-quality, brand-name home accessories and gift items, is opening its first San Luis Obispo County location in the Marigold Center on May 13.

Known for its steep discounts and unconventional marketing approach, Tuesday Morning frequently attracts crowds of loyal customers who line up hours before the opening of its special sales events.

"It's a little bit like going on a treasure hunt," said Laurey Peat, spokeswoman for the retailer. "People like to get there early because there are limited amounts of each type of merchandise."
