Apr. 2--Housing was a hot topic at the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce's monthly breakfast meeting, Wake Up Paso, on Tuesday.

Two businessmen spoke about North County home developments -- one almost completed and one still in the planning stages.

Dick Willhoit, president of Estrella Associates Inc., gave an engaging, multimedia presentation about the 200-acre River Oaks development northeast of Paso Robles.

The planned community is a mixed-use development. Seven neighborhoods -- all aimed at a different demographic -- make up River Oaks.
