Q. I was wrongfully terminated for sexual harassment last year and will eventually be reinstated through my union. Long story. She was actually stalking me and I rejected her. What do I say in an interview about leaving this job? I was an excellent employee and received outstanding reviews. Any suggestions?
A. That's a sticky spot you're in. Kind of a damned-if-you-did, damned-if-you-didn't situation. No strategy is going to be perfect in this circumstance, but here's what I can offer.
First, realize that the words "sexual harassment" are death to any job offer these days. You want to keep that term from coming up and you certainly don't want to use it ...
