Apr. 1--State Farm Insurance, the largest home and auto insurer in Minnesota, is considering combining its Woodbury regional office with a similar operation in Nebraska.

A decision is expected later this month about which office "will house most employees," spokeswoman Anne Obst said. State Farm employs 1,500 people in Woodbury and about 1,000 in Lincoln, Neb.

She declined to say whether one of the regional offices would close or whether Woodbury would lose or gain jobs. "Many scenarios are being looked at," said Obst. "Not all of the employees in ...
