ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The Distributed Generation Analysis Tool Version 1.0 is now available. With this software, users are able to conduct a 20-year lifecycle cost analysis and assess the environmental impacts of distributed generation technologies.
The software is easy to use, according to developers, but it does require some knowledge of utility rates and the characteristics of specific DG units. Users input required data and the tool analyzes and generates emissions and operating summaries and financial analyses.
